Secret Santa on a random Friday

FOR Christmas I received a $25 Starbucks Gift Card. I have used it twice.
This morning I pulled into use it and it is GONE> I have lost/misplaced it or it is just lost in the hole of a purse I carry.

I decided that I was TREATING MYSELF anyway. I am already here so I am going to get a Triple Grande White Chocolate Mocha! YUM!

When i pulled up to the window the Barista informed me that My coffee was FREE! YEP FREE! The lady in front of me paid for it! I yelped with excitement and yelled out "SHE DID!" I felt so great about this. How nice was that. Starbucks is NOT cheap and for someone to pay for my Triple Grande Whtie Chocolate Mocha! ( I JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT)!

SO GUESS WHAT I DID!!!!

I PAID FOR THE CAR BEHIND ME. FIRST I MADE SURE THEY DIDN'T HAVE A GAZILLION DOLLAR ORDER. I AM NOT A GAZILLIONAIRE!!! BUT ONCE I FOUND OUT IT WAS REASONABLE I DECIDED TO TREAT THEM AS WELL.

I HOPE THEY WERE EXCITED AS ME! I SECRETLY HOPE MAYBE THEY PAID FOR THE CAR BEHIND THEM! IF THEY DIDN'T THAT'S OK. BUT HOW COOL WOULD IT BE IF WE KEPT A TRAIN GOING IN THE DRIVE THRU. EACH CAR PAYING FOR THE CAR BEHIND THEM!

IT Feels really good when someone does something NICE for you. It also feels good to do something NICE for someone else!
Great way to start my day. Not only did I get my Triple Grande Whtie Chocolate Mocha...I received a heartwarming treat!

Has anything like this happened to you before?  I would love to hear your story!!!

Have a GREAT day!!

  7. That is so neat! I hear about people doing that in the Starbuck's line all the time. I need to find a drive through that won't cost me an arm and a leg to pay it forward like that (I don't do Starbucks! LOL)

    1. That's funny because before I offered to pay I asked how much the car behind me was...It's one thing if its' 5 or 6 bucks its another if it's 20!

  9. I love that. This past Nov. the day before Thanksgiving my husband and I went to breakfast and when it came time to pay for it, I asked for the check and our waitress told us someone paid our bill... That was the first time anyone ever did something like that for us.. I was so stunned..

  11. I have had that happen to me before too. Once when I had gotten to the window and realized I didn't have my wallet! I try to pay it forward as well to keep up the Starbucks karma :)
