Yes these are my top 10 stupid things on my mind this week..Keeping that in mind these are things that may have already happpened (not this week) But they are very much on my mind this week!
10. NORTH WEST WTF! WTH! OMG! What have these parents done to this child. I personally despise Kanye West and I have no real opinion on Kim K...However, they are adding feul to my dislike fire by naming there baby something so ignorant. I think NORI is cute..BUT this child will be made fun of all of their life...
While reading up on STUPID ASS baby names I found another that is equally as ignorant as NORTH WEST! ROB MORROW after a drunken conversation stuck with the drunken name for their baby girl Tu. Yes that's right Tu! As in Tu Morrow. Again, WTF!
So I guess today's Poll is Which is the Stupidest baby name of them all?

9. Twitter. I am 35 years old. I am the generation that didn't get the technolgy until after high school! MYSPACE was awesome followed up by a much better and fantastic FACEBOOK! Then some person decided to throw in Twitter and Hashtags (oh YES that is a baby's name also! click here) I can't completely figure Twitter and the Hashtags out. I try. Ive tried several times. I just don't know how it works..I ask my 16 year old for help and all I get is an EYEROLL!!

7. THE stupid HOT that it is. It is so stinking hot. I can't even go outside at night without breaking out in an overall sweat. Places will sweat where I didn't even know I can sweat! I don't want winter by any mneans but I would like to be able to breathe when I walk out side! Bye Bye Humidity!

4. Honey BOO BOO's scratch and sniff..I came home and my daughter says here pick a number. I pick 6. She then advises me to scratch and sniff! Since she is my sweet daughter I played along thinking it was gonna be some old school strawberry shortcake stuff or anything related..NO INSTEAD IT WAS A SCRATCH AND SNIFF OF HONEY BOO BOO AND HER POO FOR A PROMO FOR THE SEASON PREMIER.

I am so angry with some of our fellow Americans.
I am so tired of hearing of Zimmerman and how he is GUILTY when infact he was proven NOT GUILTY.
I wish people would let the Martin family be. Let them grieve, wallow, deal with the verdict and last but not least heal.

We did our own Harlem Shake
WE COULDN'T RESIST!
It's been around for awhile now but The 4th of July was the first time that all of our friends were really together! We were all hanging out..Killing daylight and drinking some beer. Out of nowhere our friedn "E" comes out of the garage wearing a motorcross helmet and some big ol hunting boots shouting "Lets make a Harlem Shake Video!" So that's what we did.
We made 2...the first one was cut a little short on the first part so they decided we had to fix it! I personally like the 1st better but they are both Fabulous!.

I am bouncing around with a metal chair, my daughter is on a pogo stick and my son is shaking his piece of chicken he happened to eating!

8. The facts are still all mumbo jumbo and people still BELIEVE the MEDIA
7. So many people have not formed their own opinion on this. They are listening and judging based on what others say or what they hear. Most people have not actually read up on any of this and have no idea what is going on.
6. I am sick of people making this a "Race Case". It may be an idiot case, or an immoral guy on a power trip case, however it is not a Hate crime. He was NOT killed because he was black.Lets take race out of this horrible tragedy. That will only keep us divided.
5. Martin was not completely innocent like we have been led by the media to believe. He was reported to be on top of Zimmerman punching him MMA style (per witness statement)...I do not think any reason whatsoever justifies a murder. But he was fighting as well.
4. This corresponds a little to #7. WHY are there articles titled "White famous people who are standing up for Trayvon Martin? Or "5 Things WHITE people can learn from Rachel Jeantel? These are just 2 examples. Our country will continue to be racists as long as articles calling each race out continue to flow. I am bugged about how many "white and ghetto" articles have come out of this.
3.. THE MEDIA..They have taken this case and ran with it. They have put out lie after lie. They have embellished so many things that they have us believing a whole different story. (EX. The picture they orginally put out of Trayvon Martin was that of him at 12 years old. So we were led to believe that he was a boy. Not a nearly grown man( not that it matters) but misleading, or they were saying Zimmerman was a "white man" when in fact he is Hispanic and has declared himself as a Hispanic male. Media, Please quit stoking the flames.
2. I am aggravated that people can NOT accept our judicial system. We are innocent until proven guilty. Zimmerman was found not guilty. He was found NOT GUILTY of 2nd degree murder. HE was tried fair and square by the court of law. Jurors heard his case, deliberated and came to the verdict. It is not a conspiracy. It was not people getting together and saying 'How can we piss the world off?' It was a TRUE case Tried. Why can Americans Not accept this? My opinion is because the MEDIA declared him guilty before being proven innocent.
1. The way Americans are behaving in the aftermath of the verdict. The lastest I heard this morning is that a Mexican Hispanic man was attacked by 3 African American men all the while shouting "This is for Trayvon" They recorded this. They beat the man to a pulp and are PROUD of this.
A white waiter was smashed in the face with a hammer like object for trying to calm the crowd.
In Oakland, Dumpsters were overturned and Police cars were spray painted.Windows were smashed out of local business windows and fires were started. Chunks of concrete were thrown at our American officers.
These Americans are showing that they are VIOLENT AND IGNORANT. This is NOT United we Stand.
I can't believe how these people are behaving. This doesn't fix anything. If anything, it makes certain races look bad. Stop making yourself look bad. Don't add fuel to fire of racial sterotypes. THat is the only outcome I can see happening.

DAD VS DADDY
YEP. THIS IS ONE OF MY WEIRDO POSTS..BUT I AM CURIOUS AS YOU KNOW WHAT TO KNOW YOUR OPINIONS ON THE SUBJECT.
CALLING YOUR FATHER
DAD OR DADDY.
I CAN'T REMEMBER EVER CALLING MY DAD, DADDY! I am sure that I did once upon a time when I was little. My sister who is 2 years younger than I has always called him Dad as well.
The other day I heard a friend, also my age(35), call her dad Daddy!
My kids all call their Dad, Daddy. They are 9, 11 and 16. I never think twice about it even with my 16 year old.
Do you think it's weird? I always just associated Daddy with baby and little kids. Do you still say Daddy? How old are you? Do you think it is unacceptable at all?

Nothing makes me angrier than a DEADBEAT DAD! (yes i know there are deadbeat moms but today I am focusing on the DEADBEAT DAD'S)
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN will not acknowledge their own flesh and blood.
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN does not want to hug his babies.
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN does not want to teach his children
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN can treat his childs mother like poop
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN can go one single day without seeing his babies smiles
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN can not Love his child
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN can not hold his child
I do not understand one teeny tiny bit how a MAN misses out on those looks, where his child will watch him so intently while he is fixing something around the house

The Lake~A great way to forget about the bills!!
We are campers. We love to go to the lake. If I had it my way we would have a house down there and go every single weekend. (maybe one day). I sometimes dream of living there but there are very few places to get a job, besides the local diner that employees probably 10 people total.
When I head to the lake I know that for 3-5 days I will have NO problems. It is a great way to forget everything for a couple of days. I absolutely take advantage of this. I don't worry about a single thing.
My favorite part of the lake is this:
I generally will always wake up before everyone else. I like to quietly sneak out of the tent and sit by the fire (that I usually have to cheat to light) and just listen to the morning sounds. The early birds, the early birds going out on their boats and making slow waves hit. There are sounds of other campers waking up for the morning and starting breakfasts There is ALWAYS a family of ducks. Ducks are pretty amazing. The babies really count on their mothers. It is very relaxing and my brain can actually relax. This is by far what I look forward to when going camping.
I highly recommend taking a camping trip with your family. It is a great way to bond. There are several things to do. We don't have a boat and it is sooo much to rent one. We do not lack things to do.
We stay at the campground beach a lot. There is a park there and a volleyball net. We go hiking and FISHING and we even have found a local waterfall that we now go enjoy. They have movie night on Saturdays. There is a big white wood board and they use old style projectors. You bring blankets and snacks and have a good ol time!
It is an all around cheap family trip also. The food is probably the most expensive but you can coupon your way there!!
The time is here and I am ready to pack up and go..!

When I head to the lake I know that for 3-5 days I will have NO problems. It is a great way to forget everything for a couple of days. I absolutely take advantage of this. I don't worry about a single thing.

Dead Beat DadISM
UGH! ONE WORD...That sums up what word I WANT to express how I really feel about Dead Beat Dads.
(Yes I know their are Dead Beat Moms also, But today I will focus on these MEN. Well they are not REAL men but we will call them that for now.
I can't fathom how so many of these men can just drop their kids. Or get a woman pregnant to never speak to her again. Or tell a child they are coming and never show (this is the worst).
Since the day I became pregnant I was a mother. My husband was a father. It did not start when my child was born. It did not start on my child's first birthday. Us being parents started the very day I put urine on a stick and saw 2 lines.
You have to be a pretty big piece of poop to NOT want to see your child. Think of all the sweet moments that are missed. The cuddly, precious smiles. Yes I know there are poopy diapers and spit up along the way but those moments are easily forgotten when you hear a "Ma-Ma".
How can any man not stake claim on their child?
How can not support your child with Love unconditionally?
How can you do this to your child's mother?
She was good enough for you to lay up with. I DON"T CARE anything about the relationship with the mother. If she has YOUR child you respect her and get along with her for your child. SUCK IT UP. GET ALONG. SHOW LOVE and try, try, try to give your child a great life.
The statistics are true. Sadly, they are. Girls without fathers will seek that love from the WRONG MEN.
Boys without fathers will rebel and go down the wrong road. (I know that this doesn't always happen, but in most cases.)
When my kids tell me stories, I can usually automatically figure out that the child they are telling the story about doesn't have a father at home.
MEN. C'MON
MAN UP!
Be a father that your son can be proud of. You should see the way MY SON looks at HIS FATHER. His father teaches him daily. My 8 year old son will hold the door for any woman. Because his dad has taught him. He can build ramps for his hot wheels...because his dad taught him.

The Croods in 3D Preview Review
I can't tell you the last time I got all giddy over a movie I thought would be strictly for little kids. Yes I am talking about the Croods! I remember laughing out loud (LOL) at the first preview I viewed. The family was standing there and Dad Crood says "This is what I call a snapshot," next thing you know a big rock jumps up and smacks them all in the face leaving an imprint of all of them on the rock.
Yes I was laughing like an 8 year old kid! They learn a whole new life awaits them and meet wonderful, animated creatures along the way!
The Croods seems like it is going to be a modern day Flintstones! If you are my age you definitely know what I am talking about. I can't wait to take my kids to see this movie! Yes that is right...I CAN'T WAIT.

How I was able to watch American Idol
Does anything ever happen in you house that is so SUPER cute you want to share with the world! This is MY Share. Here is the back story. My child Charlie who is 8 was being creative with the DVD cases and building a tower....NOW NOW I know these aren't a toy but he was gleefully allowing me to watch American Idol by keeping himself busy with this! He was so excited that it was ACTUALLY working that he was innocently giggling out of control.

The Tooth Fairy Skipped Our House
As a parent, I don't have many regrets. I try my very best each day and if I make mistakes well then I know not to do it again. Parenting is a big whopping life lesson that we try to score 100%. We all know that isn't going to happen. It isn't rational. I can count on one hand (maybe two) things I wish I had done differently or things I could change. I can count on my fingers and toes all the silly mishaps that I can't take back but that my children will one day laugh at.
I have decided to share one of those with you today! I have 3 kids. I call them my Chilly's. (short for children!) My oldest K lost her first tooth when she was 7. The Tooth Fairy skipped our house! WHAT!??? I felt like the worst parent in the whole entire world. The night before we tucked K in and went over what might happen with the tooth fairy and how much money would she leave. She was so super excited. While waiting for K to fall asleep I must have fallen out myself. I woke up the next morning to K shaking me awake so very upset that her tooth was still there and that she had no money. MY HEART FELL as low as it possibly could. How could I do this to my sweet baby girl who believes so very much in Fairies and Princesses and the whole shebang.
I covered it up with a story that once happened to "my friend". I explained that sometimes so many children can lose their teeth all in one day and the Tooth Fairy can get too busy just like us humans. I calmed her down and she patiently waited to go to sleep that night. She had a lot of "what if" questions.
I set an alarm on my phone and my alarm clock. I wasn't breaking her heart again!
K woke to a letter from the Tooth Fairy. It was a very pretty, colorful letter with glitter that explained what happened and that she was so super sorry. The Tooth Fairy also asked K to forgive her for hurting her feelings, which K did. ( A sneaky lesson!) The Tooth Fairy left EXTRA money just this once and explained that she wouldn't get extra next time, that she would get the same as the other kids from here on out. (That is how I made myself feel better! A couple extra bucks!)
So parents, the next time you forget or you think you have scarred your chilly's over something like this. ...Remember this article and that WE ALL DO IT! We make silly errors that will one day make GREAT stories!

if you really knew me
You would know that I am Super messy although I try not to be. I have a clean, organized view of how I want things to be but can never, ever seem to get things in any kind of order.
You would also know that my brain also feels SUPER cluttered. My thoughts are often jumbled up and I am sure that is why I am SUPER messy.

You would know that my idea of a perfect off day is laying up on the couch watching TV and doing nothing else. Tuning out the world is a great way to let your brain have an off day!
You would also know that I fell SUPER guilty when I do this. I feel like I need to be up cleaning the house or playing with the kids. I don't know why I beat myself up with the guilt but I do.

You would know that i have know idea what to do with my life. I have no idea. I am 34 years old and I try to picture what I should be doing. I DO NOT KNOW!. I work job to job but that is exactly what they are...JUST A JOB. I want to find something that I WANT TO DO. Something I will love. I just don't know what that is. I have spent numerous hours trying to figure this out.

I think laundry is the worst chore in the whole world. Housework sucks all around but the laundry is the absolute worst of them all.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY IBOTTA
Have you noticed that all of your favorite bloggers start posting about the same deals at the same time. All of a sudden your whole news feed is filled with the same EXACT posts. Sometimes you check them out or sometimes you ignore it!
That is what I did with IBOTTA. One day out of nowhere EVERYONE was advertising a post for IBOTTA. It kind of gets on my nerves when it gets out of control like that!
Finally about 3 weeks after the craziness I decided to click on one of them and see if I really was missing out on something.
TURNS OUT I WAS!
This is how it works. You click on the picture and the product to your list. You take a simple short quiz or look at a fact about that product. This takes about 5 seconds. Literally. Then you go to the grocery buy the products. When you come home you snap a picture of your receipt and product. VOILA the money is added to your IBOTTA account withing minutes.
The IBOTTA app makes it super simple to do all of this. I uploaded and had my money in under 3 minutes. I was glad I gave in and tried it out.
So what I am saying is that you should just try it! You might be pleasantly surprised as I was!

6 Stupid Words
Do you ever wonder where words come from? Who makes up new words for new things? While saying a word out loud this week I thought this has to be the most Stupid word ever! That made #1 on my list! Read on to see if you agree with my Stupid words! Please add any Stupid words that stick out for you in the comments!
I challenge all of you to say these aloud. You can't fully understand why they are on the list until you say them aloud! Now if someone is in the room with you please note they make think you are a little bit crazy!!
6. Butt. Try it in a sentence! My butt is cute! She has no butt! There are several other words that come in handy and are much better than butt. Booty, bottom, trunk are a few! I personally use booty!
5. Boobs & Titties! This one goes hand in hand with Butt for me! BOOBS! Titties!! Who in the world decided calling our breasts BOOBS!? AND it stuck! BOOBS! BOOBIES! Again, there are several alternatives! The boring ol Breasts. Tits, bosom, knockers, hooters, canons, rack, melons...THIS LIST COULD GO ON FOREVER! (maybe that is a whole other post!)
3. Booger. Yucky old booger. What else would we call a booger? I have no idea but it is still a silly word
and sounds silly when you say it aloud!
2. Fart! Did you fart? Who farted. Fart!
1. Stupid! This is the word that got me writing this post. Say it out loud! "STUPID"! How stupid is stupid? It is a funny sounding word!!! Also try stupidity! Sounds just as STUPID!!

TO LEGALIZE OR NOT TO LEGALIZE
This is just a quick opinion post....and of course I want to hear your opinions as well.
I live in Kentucky. Recently 2 states have legalized marijuana.
Top 10 reasons I think they it is OK to legalize Marijuana, Pot, and Weed
In no particular order..
10. It is safer than alcohol. If you have ever had too much to drink then you know that you can quickly lose memories and stature. " I did what last night!?" has been said too many times. This is not a known side effect of pot unless mixed with other substances.
9. Legalized marijuana will help control the money flow and can be used to help our states and country as opposed to criminal gangs and associations. It will also control the gazillions of our dollars used to fight the drug war. Marijuana is not toxic and should not be in this drug war.
8. Medical reasons. It helps patients with cancers and other illnesses to overcome their pain, suffering and weight issues.
7. It is a great alternative for anxiety

5. There are no known cases of anyone overdosing on Marijuana. I am 34 and with the prescription and heroin overload today, I have known of a lot of people who have overdosed over the past 5 or 6 years. It is very sad but true.

Dreams
I have very vivid dreams. I wake up and can normally remember my whole dream. I think it's amazing how your subconscious can store things for later and then treat you or haunt you with crazy visions!
I can remember being 11 years old and having a dream about my dad and my best friend dying. (They are both still alive) I was at their funeral and sobbing loudly. I woke up and I was really crying. This is probably when my infatuation with dreams began. How can I cry in my dream and really being crying!??
I have also had the same dream a gazillion times. Each time I am in a jungle/safari like setting and I am trying to climb rope steps up a gigantic hill. I am scared and freaking out the whole time. I have no idea why I have this dream. I am scared of heights in real life but I don't think these two things are related. This dream is also very colorful. All the colors are extra bold and detailed. Weird right!?

I AM A PSORIASIS SUFFERER
and let me tell you it has not been FUN!
THE EASIEST WAY FOR ME TO EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT PSORIASIS IS, IS LIKE THIS:
YOUR SKIN GROWS NEW SKIN CELLS EVERY 28 DAYS..YOU ARE CONSTANTLY SHEDDING DEAD SKIN CELLS THROUGH OUT THE MONTH MAKING WAY FOR THE NEW CELLS. NOT FOR ME AND OTHER PSORIASIS SUFFERERS. THIS PROCESS HAPPENS EVERY 4 DAYS. OUR CELLS GROW EVERY 4 DAYS SO THERE IS NOT TIME FOR OUR DEAD CELLS TO SHED AND MAKE WAY. THEREFORE THEY PILE UP MAKING THESE ACHY, SCABBY LOOKING LESIONS.
I first developed my first lesion when I was just 11. It was a spot on my leg and my mom thought it was ringworm. So we tried treating it over the counter. Much to my surprise my legs started breaking out with the same lesions. Before I knew it, half of my body was covered with what was diagnosed as Psoriasis.
It was very hard during my teenage years. Kids don't understand and the skin disease was fairly new to the public eye. I would wear long sleeves and jeans in 90 degree temps because I was so embarrassed. I wouldn't wear bathing suits or change in front of my friends.
I tried several treatments. There is NO cure. You can treat it and it may clear up for a short while but it comes back. When it comes back it is usually worse. I have done, creams, steroids, coal tar treatments, UVB light treatments under a doctors care. I even had a short stay in the hospital because the treatment wa so harsh I couldn't come in contact with any OUTSIDE light. I also did the Methotrexate medicine which was scary to me. Nothing worked. For awhile, it would clear in the summer and come back in the winter. Something about the UVB lights from the sun cures it temporarily. I went to FLORIDA for one weekend. Yes 3 days and it cleared up. I was so amazed and felt like it was a miracle.
Psoriasis does terrible things to your self esteem. Especially when you are a teen. You are already dealing with the normal growing pain and puberty issues and then you throw this in and WHAM it's a punch in the face.
I just dealt with it. Although I always hated my body. What is good being a skinny 110 pd girl if I can wear my cute clothes and bikinis. That was devastating to me then.
Now, as a 34 year old woman I still deal with it. It flares up badly in the winter. It is because I am not in the sun. I try to tan throughout the year to keep it under control and not so inflamed. I have a constant worry that I am putting myself at risk of skin cancer while trying to clear up this skin disease.
It is tough. I PRAY everyday that my children do not suffer the same. It is looking pretty good so far. It is hereditary and I worry. I try to be strong for them and act as though it's really not a bother. To be honest, I am not as harsh on myself about it as I used to be. I have come to terms with the fact that I have to live with it. I try to ease the symptoms throughout the year and every now and then will find a medicine that temporarily works.
The latest medicine was like a miracle medicine.
It was called Champori. For the first time in 15 years I wore shorts all summer. It cleared my legs up enough that I felt confident enough to actually go in public in shorts!!!! I know I shouldn't care all other times but it is hard and sometimes just easier to wear jeans than deal with the stares and questions. My legs are covered over 70%. I have taken a break on the Champori. This is why. Medicine for Psoriasis works in mysterious ways. What works for some may not work for others. What works once may not work again. It seems so unfair to actually find something that works and then it doesn't. That is why I took the Champori break. i was ecstatic to go all summer with nearly clear skin. So when the weather started cooling off I stopped using it so that my skin doesn't become immune. I felt liberated for the first time in a long time and I want to use it again in the spring and hopefully have the same results. The results for sure will not be the same if I continuously use it. Here are a couple things I do to keep my Psoriasis from hurting in the winter.
YOU HAVE TO KEEP YOUR SKIN HYDRATED WITH LOTION. NO MATTER WHAT YOU CAN NOT LET IT GET DRY. USE VASELINE. YES IT IS THICK AND GOOEY BUT YOUR SKIN WILL ABSORB IT. YOU HAVE TO PUT THIS ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU BATH. VASELINE WILL LOCKING IN MOISTURE. IT DOESN'T MOISTURIZE ONLY LOCKS IT IN. SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO DO IT AFTER THE BATH. PAT DRY WITH YOUR TOWEL.
OPT FOR THE 8 DOLLAR LOTION OVER THE 2 DOLLAR LOTION. YES THIS ISN'T WHERE YA WANNA SPEND EXTRA CASH BUT YOUR SKIN WILL THANK YOU. US PSORIASIS SUFFERERS HAVE TO HAVE THICK, EXTRA MOISTURIZING LOTION.
ALSO, SINCE IT IS COLD A GREAT TIP THAT WORKS FOR ME IS PUTTING LEGGINS ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER USING THE VASELINE. IT HELPS LOCK IT IN AND THEY ARE ACTUALLY COMFORTING HUGGING YOUR LEGS SO TIGHT. SINCE THEY ARE SO TIGHT THERE IS NO FRICTION RUBBING AGAINST YOUR SKIN.

Pet Peeves
Here are a few of my Pet Peeves
My #1 Pet Peeve by far is
People who are late. UGH! This one gets me on an angry roll. If you have to be at at 2PM then be here at 1:59!!! You know all week long that the event starts at 2PM. There is no reason you should be late. The late people are always the same. You are always waiting on the same people. Like they are extra SPECIAL and you SHOULD wait on them. Now don't get me wrong. We all run late and things sometimes happen to make you late. I am talking about the disrespectful people that you can count on to be late at any type of event you invite them to. I have a family of 5 to prepare. We may run around the house like chickens with our heads cut off and I may be stressed the heck out while getting everyone together, however, you can COUNT ON ME TO BE ON TIME! P.S. If I am not on time I will have the courtesy to call you and tell you! The normal Later ones don't have that courtesy. Now on to the NEXT! I told you I could roll on this one!!
My #2 is definitely people who do NOT take a little pride in what they do...YES we ALL HAVE to work. Most of us don't want to and most of us don't like our jobs....BUT if you have to do it you must do it right. TAKE A LITTLE PRIDE and do it good. If you are a server, be the server your customer wants. (this pays off)...If you work at McDonalds, Be nice and courteous, if you work at Walmart and we need help then help with a smile. Whatever it is, Be Proud of the JOB you do!
#3 How about parents that leave their kids trailing behind them..Too many times I have seen grown ups walk through a door and their little kids are scrambling to make it in behind them before the door shuts...or walking down a street and their kids are behind them. Someone could snatch them up and they would never know. WATCH YOUR KIDS PEOPLE!
