Day 10. I am Thankful for my sister. She has truly been my best friend since we were young.
Today she picked me up and we took our kids to open gym, went to McDonalds and then went to Starbucks!
It is not much but I will take any 5 minutes I can get with her. Ya see, I have 3 kids and a husband. She has 4 kids and a husband. Between that and working it gets super busy sometimes. ALL OF THE TIME!!
So Sometimes, she will pick me up and we will go to Starbucks, go through the drive thru and she will drop me right back off. It is only a few minutes but it gives us a few minutes to get caught up! I LOVE IT!
Even though we are super busy living our lives, I know that I can call her on a drop of a dime and she knows that she can call me!
IF you haven't talked you your brother or sister....pick up the phone and call them or send an EMAIL. It's important...and usually any little fight isn't worth not speaking to each other!
This is such a sweet post and it's great that you and your sister catch a few minutes to hang out and catch up whenever you can!
ReplyDeleteI love getting to hang with my sister as well. Its hard to do with family, kids and work but when we can we enjoy it a lot.
